What Youll Be Doing
- Youll act as the bridge between Finance and Operations
- That means understanding whats happening on the ground yield scrap downtime throughput capacity and translating it into meaningful financial insight. It means supporting budgeting and forecasting building stronger visibility around standard costing and variances and helping leadership understand the true impact of operational performance
- Constructive challenge around cost control
- Not from a position of theory but from understanding how a factory really runs.
- Youll sit alongside operational leaders and be a trusted advisor. Youll support site performance reviews evaluate investment decisions and help drive continuous improvement in reporting and financial transparency
- The opportunity lies in strengthening structure improving reporting quality and shifting time away from preparation and toward analysis and action
What You Need
- Youll likely be a qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong manufacturing finance experience
- Youll understand standard costing variance analysis and operational cost drivers
- Youll be confident enough to influence experienced leaders and practical enough to work in an environment that values clarity over complexity
- Most importantly youll enjoy partnering with the business not just producing numbers but shaping what happens next
