The Project Coordinator supports project managers in the planning execution and completion of projects by helping manage schedules resources documentation and communication among team members and stakeholders. This role ensures projects stay organized on track and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist project managers in developing project plans timelines and deliverables
- Coordinate meetings prepare agendas and document meeting minutes
- Track project progress and follow up on action items
- Maintain project documentation reports and records
- Communicate project updates to team members and stakeholders
- Monitor deadlines and help ensure milestones are met
- Support budget tracking and resource allocation
- Identify project risks issues and dependencies and escalate when needed
- Coordinate with internal teams vendors and external partners
- Ensure compliance with company processes standards and policies
- Nuclear or power generation experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering Management or a related field
- Proven experience in project coordination administration or a similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project Asana Trello Jira or Smartsheet
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid OPG or Bruce Power Clearance
- Project management certification or coursework such as CAPM or PMP
- Experience with steam turbines Generators and auxiliaries within the nuclear domain is definitely a plus
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile Waterfall Lean or Scrum
