The Role

We are seeking an experienced hands-on Facilities & EHS Manager to lead the stand-up and ongoing operation of our new 80000 sq. ft. flagship manufacturing facility in Cypress CA. This site will become the primary production hub for the company.

This roleis responsible forowning all aspects of facilities environmental health & safety (EHS) and equipment maintenance across the site. You will play a critical role in bringing the factory onlinepartnering with construction teams managing contractors ensuring regulatory compliance and building the systems and processesrequiredto support a high-performing manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Head of Production you will serve as the single-threaded owner for facility operations safety programs infrastructure reliability and site readiness. You will also provideliaison supportto our Redondo Beach site as needed.

This role requires a highly independent operator who can build scale andmaintainsystems in a fast-paced high-growth manufacturing environment.

WhatYoullDo

Facility Build-Out & Contractor Management (25%)

• Support the bring-up of the Cypress facility partnering with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure on-time on-budget execution
• Manage construction projects vendors and contractors with a focus on minimal disruption to operations.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of facility infrastructure (power HVAC compressed air etc.)
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all third-party facility-related services (construction janitorial utilities etc.)

Facilities Operations & Infrastructure Management (25%)

• Point of contact for landlord. Responsible for upkeeping compliance to Senras lease agreements
• Own the maintenance repair and operation of all facility systems including building infrastructure HVAC electrical systems and industrial utilities
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs for both facility systems and production equipment
• Ensure uptime reliability and scalability of all site infrastructure
• Manage office and facility operations including space planning and workplace functionality

Capital Planning & Site Expansion (15%)

• Develop and execute site improvement and expansion plans to support production growth and rate increases
• Lead capital planning efforts for facility upgrades and infrastructure investments
• Manage project timelines budgets and execution for all facilities-related capital projects

Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Leadership (25%)

• Own and drive a zero-incident safety culture across the site
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA environmental regulations and all applicable local/state/federal codes
• Develop implement and maintain EHS programs including:
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• PPE assessments
• Hazard assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
• Oversee hazardous material storage labeling handling and disposal
• Conduct regular safety audits inspections and compliance reviews
• Lead investigations for incidents near-misses and corrective actions
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees
• Conduct monthly safety reviews and reporting

Cross-Site Support & Training (10%)

• Provide facilities and EHS support to the Redondo Beach site asrequired
• Train employees on facility operations safety procedures and compliance standards
• Build scalable processes and documentation for multi-site operations

WhatWereLooking For

• 10 years of experience in facilities management engineering construction or a related field
• 5 years of direct experience in facilities management preferably in a manufacturing or startup environment
• Strong working knowledge of building systems including HVAC electrical plumbing and industrial utilities
• Experience managing construction projects contractors and vendors
• Deep understanding of OSHA regulations EHS programs and compliance requirements
• Experience developing and executing preventative maintenance programs
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to provide on-call support for facility-related issues as needed (including off-hours)

Preferred

• Bachelorsdegree in Engineering Construction Industrial or Operations
• OSHA certifications (e.g. OSHA 30)
• Experience in aerospace automotive or high-mix manufacturing environments
• Experience standing up or scaling manufacturing facilities
• Background in capital planning and facilities budgeting
• Experience managing hazardous materials and environmental compliance programs

• Successfully supported the full bring-up and stabilization of the Cypress facility
• Established reliable scalable systems for facility operations and preventative maintenance
• Built and enforced a strong EHS culture with zero major safety incidents
• Ensured full compliance with all OSHA environmental and building code requirements
• Delivered key facility and infrastructure projects on time and within budget
• Created clear processes and ownership for contractor management and third-party services
• Enabled high uptime and reliability of facility systems to support production growth
• Established repeatable systems that support multi-site operations (Cypress Redondo)
