Field Technician

Lawrence Doors Inc. a leader in the commercial door industry and a part of Amarr / ASSA ABLOY Group (the global leader in opening solutions) is looking for an experienced foreman that specializes in commercial and industrial door installations service and repair for our Baldwin Park Branch. Willingness to work overtime a must. Electrical and welding experience is beneficial. Willing to train someone who is mechanical and a quick learner.

Job Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 35 years of experience in using hand and power tools
- 3-5 years of commercial coiling overhead door installation and repairs
- Stick welding experience
- Ability to install edge of docks and weld on bumpers
- Electrical experience with installing motor operators and gate operators
- Ability to run floor loops
- Ability to troubleshoot high speed doors
- Ability to read drawings and use basic measurement tools.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality safety and documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
- Ability to climb extension ladders
- Experience with safe operation of scissor lift and forklift

Compensation: Hourly pay rate of $27.00 to $35.00 (DOE) medical dental vision PTO 401K with company match. (Lots of opportunity to work overtime)
