- Overall responsibility for compliance of assigned projects withproject controls standardsboth from applicable contract documents and fromCompanysproject controls policies/guidelines.
- Create& maintainproject status update reports forecast reports & project dashboards; ensuretimelyissuance to internal & external stakeholders (per client requirements).
- Create& maintaincustomized reports or dashboards to adapt to evolving risks& projectneeds.
- Develop andmaintainresource plans ensuring cost & schedule alignment.
- Develop andmaintaina change log to track all internal & external changes and monitor progress through the change management process.
- Participate in proposal and estimating efforts to ensure continuity between project estimates and baselines.
- Produce or oversee production of a detailed resource-loaded schedule in P6.
- Regularly conduct variance analysis to understand trends & other baseline deviations in support of rigorous change management; provide variance narratives & propose corrective actions or recovery plans.
- Prepare Earned Value Management KPIs to assess project performance.
- Liaise with external groups (Accounting Finance Procurement Construction etc.) to gaininputinto Project Controls reports.
- Assistin project set-up converting bids into baseline budgets using the companys Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (SAP P6) reconciling gaps.
- Review and analyze the project control reports ( and productivity) with the project control leads and project team and suggest corrective actions tomaintainreasonable (around 1-PF) performance/productivity.
- Review andanalyze the project scheduling and cost reportsand suggest corrective actions tomaintainthe project withinanticipatedcost and schedule.
- Review the project contract to ensure compliance with contract conditionsregardingreporting change management and all other Project Controls areas.
- Set up project accounting systems (cost codes job cost processing procedures project rules of credit).
- Responsible to communicate train andgenerally ensurefull understanding by project staff of project controls processes and their applicable responsibilities.
- Provide input on an ongoing basis for improvements/modifications tocompanysproject controls policy & guidelines.
- Maintain continuous contact withcompanyscorporate project controls group through regular reporting and acceptance of input and directives.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Communicated promptly to Project Management and Corporate Project Controls.
- Performed compliant to Aecon Project Controls standards guidelines industry bestpracticesand Clients requirements.
- Assuring integrated Project Controls performance considering Cost Change and Risk Management and Reporting.
- In coordination with other departments; Commercial Design Procurement Construction Financeetc.
- 5-8years of related experience.
- College and/or University degree in engineering construction management ora relatedfield OR applicable work experience.
- Applied knowledge of the Earned Value principles.
- Applied knowledge of Project Management and Project Controls principles including experience with concepts of PMBOK.
- Ability to produce read and manipulate schedules and scheduling curves/reports.
- Applied knowledge of cost engineering/cost control.
- Intermediate toexpertproficiencywith Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated analytical problemsolvingand adaptive thinking skills.
- Detail oriented approach with a focus on quality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
- Passion for continuous learning andadvancement of technical knowledge.
- Due to the nature of work conducted by Aecon mandated nuclear export controls requirements must be met for employment

Pay Range: $99000 - $149000
Individual pay is determined based on several factors including work location education experience unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications specialized training and the complexity or scope of the role.
