Job Summary
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for skilled Excavator Operators to join our groundwork teams on a busy project in New will operate 360 tracked excavators across a variety of groundwork and drainage tasks maintaining the highest standards of safety and plant care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Digging strip foundations trenches and bulk excavations to drawings and levels
- Topsoil levelling type 1 / crush placement and road formation works
- Lifting and working with trench boxes manhole boxes and trench sheets
- Acknowledging the need for dig permits before breaking ground
- Experienced working around live services and in service avoidance techniques
- Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Carrying out essential greasing and basic maintenance keeping machines clean and tidy
REQUIREMENTS:
- CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Excavator /- 10t Tracked*
- CPCS Lifting Ops / NPORS* Excavator as Crane
- Safety Critical Medical (site specific)
- Reliable punctual and able to work well with other trades
- Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE:
- GPS machine control experience
- CPCS / NPORS* Forward Tipping Dumper
- CPCS / NPORS* Ride-On Roller
- CPCS / NPORS* Telehandler
- CPCS / NPORS* Quick Hitch Attachment
- 5 years of experience
