Job Description
This is a salaried position working weekdays with a flexible start time. After completion of the probationary period there will be an opportunity to work remote 1 day per week.
The selected candidate will have a bachelors or masters degree and at least 2 years of project management experience and be proficient using Microsoft Power Point and Excel.
Experience working with equity data and/or projects and prior experience working in a clinical setting is also preferred.
General Summary:
The Equity Program Manager will be responsible for the collaborative leadership of assigned projects involving the Nursing and Allied Health Equity Program. The position supports the design development implementation and continued evolution of a proactive strategy for an innovative program focused on enhancing equity through assessment infrastructure education and intervention. The Program Manager works in collaboration with a broad group of stakeholders and interprofessional teams to promote a culture of equity and antiracism throughout the organization.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for overall project management operational support to equity needs of Nursing and Allied Health.
Supports Director Clinical Excellence Equity & Wellbeing in implementation of holistic programming designed to develop skills behaviors and systems that promote equity initiatives and development of an antiracist culture.
Supports the ongoing assessment and tracking of projects. Compiles summaries of participant data and class attendance inventories to ensure proper detailed program evaluation.
Coordinates programing including speakers consultants training vendors and other programing needs. Manages multiple projects with deadlines and competing priorities independently.
Promotes and communicates organizations priorities regarding equity and directs staff to appropriate internal and external resources (via rounding social media SharePoint site)
Assists in the development of budget policies and procedures relevant to the operation of equity initiatives.
Supports research opportunities and works collaboratively across disciplines when appropriate to improve equity.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Bachelors degree with masters degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years in progressively more responsible clinical or management positions including the management of projects.
Competent in interpersonal/interdisciplinary communication group process facilitation negotiation and conflict resolution.
Experience in planning program development decision making and outcome evaluation.
Competent in leading and facilitating complex projects involving stakeholders from across the organization.
Highly self-directed in acquiring the knowledge and skills required to lead or facilitate newly assigned projects.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Communicates clearly and concisely in teaching and mentoring others.
Ability to maintain a growth mind-set empathic approach to critical conversations/situations preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion.
