Position Overview

Mercy Flights is seeking a strategic and mission-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer the CFO provides strategic financial leadership and oversees all fiscal operations of the organization. This includes financial planning and analysis accounting revenue cycle management capital planning debt management compliance oversight and board-level financial reporting. The CFO serves as a key business partner to the CEO and Board of Directors supporting long-range strategic planning financial sustainability and operational growth. The role also serves as Mercy Flights designated Privacy Officer leading the organizations HIPAA privacy compliance program. This is a highly visible executive position requiring strong nonprofit financial leadership experience executive presence and the ability to guide complex financial and operational initiatives within a mission-driven organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

• 10 years of progressive finance experience
• 5 years in a CFO or equivalent senior financial leadership role
• Experience within an organization with an annual operating budget of at least $20 million
• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field

Preferred:

• Experience in a healthcare or nonprofit environment
• Masters degree (MBA MAcc MS Finance)
• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience in prehospital medical transportation environments

• Posted salary range: $177400 - $243925 depending on experience.
