WhatYoull Be Doing:
- Manage employee relations matters as they arise liaising with legal advisors and external stakeholders on complex issues to achieve fair and practical outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with managers and provide ongoing support across people matters.
- Conduct investigations into grievancesmisconductand performance concerns.
- Manage and coordinate personal injury and CTP claims end-to-end.
- Provide advice and recommendations to managers on performance management and grievance processes.
- Support managers in understanding andcomplying withlegislative requirements policies and best practice across employee relations flexible work and leave arrangements.
- Manage workplace claims and represent the business in proceedings before the Fair Work Commission ensuring that youdemonstratea best practice approach whilst ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
WhatYoull Bring:
- Minimum2 years experience in Employee Relations or a similar role.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Industrial Relations or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations grievance handling WHS and employment legislation (including Fair Work).
- Experience supporting or working within unionised environments (transport industry experience is a bonus).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong trusted relationships across alllevels.
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiplepriorities.
- Proactive solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously and handle confidentialmatters.
- Must be an Australian Citizen Permanent Resident or have valid unrestricted working rights inAustralia.
