Key Responsibilities
As our Landscape Architect & Project Manager you will:
- Lead and support the Parks Development Team
- Manage a broad portfolio of environmental improvement schemes
- Develop design concepts masterplans technical drawings and costings
- Consult with communities and stakeholders to shape meaningful places
- Ensure safe high-quality delivery of landscape projects
- Explore and secure funding opportunities
- Promote sustainable biodiverse and innovative design solutions
- Project manage the procurement and construction phases.
About the role
Were delivering a programme of innovative environmental improvements across our parks open spaces and council-managed woodlands. From play to biodiversity enhancements youll shape meaningful schemes that support health wellbeing and sustainability for our residents and for the environment.
Youll manage a welcoming team who are passionate about public spaces and the environment who work closely together with key other departments and stakeholders to deliver great outcomes and results.
Our commitment to sustainability runs through everything we do. Youll design and deliver projects that prioritise biodiversity nature-based solutions and long-term environmental.
About You
Were looking for someone who is:
- A qualified Landscape Architect
- Creative innovative and passionate about environmental design
- Skilled in project management and community engagement
- Experienced in delivering landscape improvements in public spaces
- A positive team leader who enjoys working collaboratively
- Committed to sustainability inclusivity and excellent public service
Additional Requirements
A full UK driving licence is essential and you should be comfortable working on projects on a variety of sites across Wyre.
