Job Summary
Schedule: Full Time 40 hours per week 8:00am-4:30pm Weekend & Holiday Rotations Required

Travel Requirements: This role involves regular travel between Jackson Lenawee and Hillsdale counties providing Home-Based Care.

What Youll Do:
As a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in our Day Center and providing in-home care youll play a vital role in ensuring our participants receive the highest quality care. From assisting with daily activities to providing comfort and companionship your work will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve in Jackson Lenawee and Hillsdale counties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Hands-On Care Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing grooming dressing and toileting.
- Support Mealtime Help participants enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
- Keep Things Moving Support mobility including turning positioning and safe transfers.
- Perform Vital Checks Measure and record vital signs weight and intake/output.
- Maintain Comfort & Care Keep rooms tidy cozy and well-stocked with essentials.
- Provide Responsive Support Respond with kindness and compassion.
- Monitor with Watchful Eyes Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
- Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.

Skills Knowledge & Expertise
- A current and valid Michigan CNA Certification required.
- CPR Certified or willing to obtain.
- Six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed CENA preferred.
- Prior home care experience preferred.
- The ability to read write understand and follow directions.
- Physical ability to lift stand bend transfer stretch walk push and pull as needed.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds frequently is required.
