Job Description:
MMR is seekingProject Engineercandidates to manage project engineering workflows including RFIs submittals document control designclarifications material procurement support scope tracking installation work packages reporting andcoordination with construction and quality responsibilities would include but not limited to the following:
- Manage RFIs submittals and design clarifications.
- Maintain document control and tracking logs.
- Support procurement and material expediting.
- Coordinate drawing revisions and engineering communications.
- Track scope changes and assist with change documentation.
- Support turnover and closeout documentation.
- Build and maintain installation work packages.
- Coordinate with construction quality and safety departments to generate weekly and monthlyreports consisting of project status and financials.
- Ensure Field Engineers perform installation audits and tracking updates for accurate clientreporting.
- Assist Superintendents Procurement and Logistics team with bill of material for installationwork packages.
- Assist Assistant Project Managers with design revisions and change management process.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
BS in Construction Managementor related field
Experienceinelectrical and instrumentation constructionpreferred
Experience in industrial construction is preferred
Must have knowledge in estimating scheduling and purchasing
Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications
Working knowledge of MS Office software
Experience with Primavera P6 preferred
Ability to read and understand a CPM schedule andidentifycritical paths
Ability to work independently prioritize organize problem solve and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to work flexiblevaryinghours including evenings and weekends as needed
Regular and reliable attendance at work
