Overall Requirements:

Our Operations Department is looking for a motivated individual to join the team as a Water Spider for a 3 month contract. This role specializes in keeping production lines running by delivering materials tools and components just-in-time. The incumbent will act as a crucial support link by preventing worker downtime removing waste managing inventory and replenishing

Responsibilities:

• Material Replenishment:Constantly delivering raw materials and parts to workstations
• Workflow Maintenance:Replacing tools removing empty boxes/waste and moving materials to minimize bottlenecks
• Kanban/Process Support:Moving Kanban cards updating status boards and following or improving standard processes
• Support Roles:Assisting with product changeovers and helping less experienced personnel

Education & Experience:

• Previous experience considered an asset

Additional Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Read understand and carry out written instructions
• Ability to perform routine repetitive transactions with a high level of accuracy
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong time-management skills to ensure efficiency is maintained throughout the floor
• The role is highly active often requiring walking lifting and carrying items for long periods which can be physically demanding
