Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Aide to provide support and care to clients in their homes in Taylor MI. This role involves assisting with daily living activities to promote independence and enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Prepare and serve meals following dietary guidelines
- Provide companionship and support to clients
- Monitor client condition and report any changes to the supervisor or healthcare professional
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare providers
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is an asset but NOT required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Must pass background and reference checks
- A reliable source of transportation
