Join us as a Lead Skilled Tradesman and contribute to advancing health environmental and safety this role you will ensure optimal equipment performance support maintenance activities and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot complex technical issues coordinate preventive maintenance programs and collaborate with engineering production and quality teams to support the production of critical scientific and medical products.
A Day in the Life:
Set up and start up various molding machines according to production schedules
Install and remove molds ensuring proper alignment and connections
Adjust machine parameters (temperature pressure cycle time etc.) for optimal performance
Perform first-piece inspections to verify product quality
Troubleshoot molding and process issues to minimize downtime
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during production
Perform routine maintenance on molds and equipment
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Maintain accurate production and setup documentation
Work closely with quality maintenance and production teams
Keys to Success:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering maintenance or similar technical role preferred
Experience with injection molding processes tooling and equipment maintenance
Experience with calibration preventive maintenance and GMP/GEP compliance
Experience with PLCs control systems and automated equipment preferred
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical electrical and automated systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics and documentation
Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements (ISO GMP)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and time management skills
Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work rotating shifts and respond to emergency calls as needed

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $28.13$42.19.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
