Youll be on the move here at Chatsworth Assisted Living troubleshooting HVAC electrical and plumbing systems. Join our team as a Handyman / Residential Maintenance Technician where no two days are the same. We arent looking for a wrench turnerwe are looking for a proactive problem-solver who takes pride in ensuring our residents have a safe functional and comfortable place to call home.

Work schedule

8:30 AM to 4:30PM

Work: TUESDAY thru SATURDAY

Off: SUNDAY & MONDAY

How you will make an impact

• Provide prompt responses to residents maintenance work orders
• Contribute to the General Services team visibility and reputation for problem solving and enhancing the resident living experience
• Perform routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and community public areas including electrical malfunctions repair/replace plumbing and lighting fixtures and other maintenance needs that arise
• Perform necessary maintenance of HVAC equipment including scheduled preventive maintenance and responding to emergency calls

What you will need

• PLEASE READ: The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) requires all new hires to successfully complete and pass an extensive Level 2 background screening which covers U.S. Federal State and City checks (submitting fingerprints) prior to the start of employment. • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential apartment complex commercial building setting or construction-related industry
• Must possess a working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include but not limited to plumbing electrical flooring and appliances
• Must have working knowledge of HVAC
• Experience in Home Health environment preferred
• Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
