Role description:

We are currently seeking a Water Scientist/Engineer Intern to join our Water Business Line in our New York City NY and Nassau County office in Summer 2026!

We work to protect our natural environment and water resources while powering our world for future generations. Around the world were feeling the effects climate change rapid urbanization loss of biodiversity. The rate at which were seeing large-scale unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires is becoming more frequent. Role accountabilities:

As a Water Scientist/Engineer Intern you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to various projects related to water/wastewater treatment. Your responsibilities will include performing design services during construction which involves processing and responding to submittals request for information and other construction-related addition you will perform fieldwork activities including site visits and inspections for the construction projects currently in progress. This role will require both office work and field work. You will also be interacting with the project team as we work together to support the successful completion of our construction projects.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel Word and PowerPoint.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a BS in Civil Environmental or Water Resources Engineering or Construction Managementor another closely related academic discipline. (must be enrolled in a degree seeking program during the internship period)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internship or coursework in water/wastewater water resources construction management or related sectors.
