We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinician who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. Together staff will provide care that meets the needs of the community and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive experience for both patients and their families.
Specialty: Radiology Technician
Licensure: Any state ARRT BLS (AHA)
Work Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm except holidays
Patient Mix by Age: All ages
Types of Cases: Ortho Chest & Respiratory Neurological Cardiovascular Abdominal and Pelvic
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray and radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders.
- Prepare patients for imaging by explaining procedures positioning them correctly and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols to minimize exposure and protect patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using basic computer systems and radiology information systems.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the radiology work area and equipment to comply with clinical standards and infection control policies.
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate imaging results.
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
