To support forwarding sales we provide dedicated support in ocean contracts and pricing negotiation along with a team in China to assist shippers. The Opportunity

As anSenior Account Executiveyou will focus on creating partnerships with importers that demonstrate a need for our innovative shipping solutions.

In this role you will:

  • Identify and target customers that fit Shippabos ICP
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate a pipeline of qualified leads
  • Demonstrate strong lead generation and appointment setting within the first 90 days
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis and present tailored solutions to prospective customers
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to discovery calls to client onboarding
  • Stay updated on industry trends market conditions and competitor activities
  • Work closely with internal teams such as Operations Account Management and Finance to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Attend trade shows conferences and other events to establish a presence in target verticals and identify new account opportunities
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies


Must-Haves

  • Extensive sales experienceoffering global freight forwarding services with a focus on ocean air inland transportation customs brokerage and warehousing
  • Hunter sales professional who can bring an active book of business focusing on importers that ship between 100-2000 containers a year
  • Track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas while navigating highly competitive deal cycles
  • International freight experience with specific expertise in trans-Pacific tradelanes
  • Self-motivated and able to work within a virtual team across multiple time zones
  • Reside in the USA or Canada
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for conferences trade shows and sales and team meetings

Compensation

Shippabo is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation for this role is $120000-$140000.Starting salary is commensurate with the candidates experience and book of business. With commissions and bonusYear 1 OTE is expected to be $200K (and $360K in Year 2)with uncapped commission potential. Actual compensation is dependent upon many factors such as training transferable skills work experience business needs location and market demands. This range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
