Mechanical Estimator

Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a growing team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial mechanical projects including HVAC piping and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities

Review project drawings specifications and bid documents
Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor materials equipment and subcontractors
Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
Collaborate with project managers and operations to ensure accurate project handoff
Track and manage multiple bids while meeting deadlines

Qualifications

3 years of experience in mechanical estimating (HVAC piping or plumbing)
Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
