Aerosol and Plastics Test Technician

Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding a member of the operations team the Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules code of conduct and company policies and procedures.

Salary: $18-$24/hr DOE

• Ability to read and understand customer specifications and perform the testing required
• Designs/sets-up/Performs a variety of test according to customer specifications and requirements
• Possess the ability to work independently
• Ability to read and understand customer specifications and perform the testing required

This is a fast-paced environment and we need someone who is proactive self-motivated and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field respected by all who they work with keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will:

• Working knowledge of laboratory safety
• HS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomed
• 0-2 years experience in a testing related field
• Basic understanding of testing concepts

NOTE: This position requires access to export-controlled commodities technical data technology software and services. U.S. citizenship U.S. legal permanent resident status protected person status under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
