About the company: They operate two primary creative companies. Our work sits at the intersection of cinematic storytelling brand strategy and filmmaker education.

They collaborate regularly with some of the industrys top talent. Cinematographers like Rodrigo Prieto Lol Crawley Salomon Ligthelm and ASC-level directors and DPs. The standard of their work reflects those relationships. The editor they hire needs to understand that context and be able to work at that level across a variety of projects from big to small.

About the role:This role sits across multiple projects: branded commercial work documentary-style storytelling social content (Instagram Reels YouTube) and campaign videos for nonprofit and mission-driven clients. The right person doesnt just cut they think in story know what makes people stop scrolling and understand pacing at a felt level.

Responsabilties:

• Short-form social edits (Reels YouTube Shorts TikTok)
• Long-form documentary and narrative-style cuts
• Commercial and branded content
• Repurposing interview and talking-head footage into compelling content
• Occasional motion graphics or basic VFX (or knowing when to flag it)

Qualifications & Skills

• 3 years of professional editing experience
• Strong across at least two lanes: social/short-form documentary commercial YouTube
• A narrative instinct not just technical proficiency. This person thinks in story.
• Speed and adaptability small team fast-moving projects no hand-holding needed
• Active AI integration in their workflow. I want to implement AI workflows into our processes.
• Self-directed communicates clearly works across multiple projects simultaneously
• Based in Latin America strongly preferred timezone alignment and long-term team vision
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a meaningful plus
• Fast learner self-starter problem-solver takes ownership and initiative.

Tools:

• Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve required.
• After Effects a plus.
