CNC Operator 3rd Shift

Role Summary

As a CNC Operator you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining our standards of excellence.

Job Details

• Position Type: Hourly Full Time

• Work Hours: 3rd Shift Monday Friday 11:00pm 7:00am

• Pay Range: $16.00 - $19.00/hour depending on experience Plus $2.00/hour shift premium

• Work Location: MC (905 S Jackson St Mount Carroll IL 61053)

• Reports To: Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications

• Ensure all items meet our strict quality control requirements

• Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustments

• Interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments

• Complete all necessary documents accurately and thoroughly

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with 5S standards

• Adhere strictly to safety environmental and quality policies and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Competencies

• Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions

• Ability to take initiative demonstrating the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion without supervision

• Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with team members and internal customers

• Ability to read and understand blueprints

• Proficiency in basic computer and mathematical skills.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous industrial manufacturing experience is strongly preferred

• Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps

• History of reliable attendance record and punctuality - essential to support production timelines and team operations.
