About the role

The Production Tire Lead is responsible for overseeing all activity within the production/tire department. They ensure shop safety guidelines are followed paperwork is completed and maintain shop inventory product tools and equipment.

What youll do

• Supervise daily tire production
• Oversee mounting labeling and staging
• Train and support team members
• Ensure product quality and safety
• Maintain documentation and logs
• Report on equipment issues and delays
• Follow safety procedures
• Ability to mount balance install tires and wheels

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years in tire/automotive production
• 1 year in a lead role preferred
• Knowledge of mounting balancing and tools/machines
• Able to lift 75 lbs
• Operate equipment (IE: sit-down forklift stand-up Forklift Cherry Picker Deep Reach Truck)
• Forklift certification preferred

Physical Demands:

Standing Walking Reaching/Bending Endurance Balancing/Mobility Manual Dexterity Exposure to varying conditions Repetitive Motion Lifting to 50 lbs. consistently safety equipment loud noises: 8-hour work shift
