A Day in the Life
- Establish and mature a consultative PM model where project managers act as trusted advisors to clients and internal stakeholders proactively manage scope risk value realization and outcomes and influence decisions not just track tasks
- Define PM role expectations competencies and career paths aligned to a consulting mindset
- Coach and develop PMs to operate effectively in complex multi-workstream engagements
- Ensure PMs are embedded as strategic partnersin client delivery
- Design and lead a scalable PMO resource model that intentionally blends senior consultative PMs with more tactical and administrative PM roles - ensuring the right level of leadership is applied to each engagement and all resources are fully utilized within their respective skill sets strengths and experiences
- Respond to client escalation and provide project management where necessary on client facing projects
- Own PMO contribution todelivery financial performance including billable utilization margin protection forecast accuracy change management and scope control
- Partner with practice and delivery leaders to optimize resource allocation across projects balance utilization targets with quality and sustainability anticipate capacity needs and delivery risks build systemsprocessesand tools to allow foraccuratetracking of backlog toanticipateneeds and adjustments
- Ensure PMs actively manage project economics not just schedules
- Define and enforcedelivery standards playbooks and governance modelsthat scale

- Ensure consistent application of project initiation and readiness financial and delivery reporting risk issue and dependency management and change control and decision escalation

- Partner with internal teams to select implement and optimize PMO tools and platforms
- Champion continuous modernization of delivery operations through smart tooling
- Serve as a key leader within delivery operations driving process simplification reduced delivery friction and improved crossteam collaboration
- Use data and insights to identify patterns bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
- Lead retrospectives and improvement initiatives across projects and portfolios

- Partner with executive leadership on delivery strategy capacity and investment decisions and risk management and escalation
- Collaborate closely with practice leaders client success leadership and sales and presales teams (as needed) to ensure delivery readiness

- Demonstrated success leading teams through change and operational maturity
