Sales Development Representative I

Position Overview:

The Diligent Sales Development Representative I (SDR I) plays an instrumental role in the direct growth of Diligent by generating new business opportunities primarily through inbound leads. The SDR Iengageswith new leads to understand their business requirements and document these while being a brand ambassador for the Diligent products. An SDR Iutilizestheir strong conversational skills to maximise engagement and achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Navigating CRM (Salesforce) toidentifyinbound prospects for targeting and enrich withadditionalinformation to create value conversations that lead to Initial Meetings
• Conduct sales development best practices through email phone and social activities using the various software tools to connect with new prospects
• Utilize smart targeted questions to speak knowledgeably to qualify the right decisions makers
• Skillfully build interest and influence opportunities with inbound prospects
• Coordinate meetings/demonstrations on account executives calendar and log activities in the CRM
• Meet or exceed targets & key performance indicators (KPIs) as determined by the business
• Other duties may be requested in accordance with business need

Required Experience/Skills

• A keen interestforworking in a sales-focused target-driven environment.
• An understanding of the sales process (marketing sales cycle)
• Demonstrated ability to articulate the unique proposition of Diligent solutions and obtain product knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior level executives
• Excellent presentation skills both verbally and written
• High energy with a positive and can-do attitude that drives success.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with sales SaaS or senior executive communications is desirable
