Position: Machining Maintenance Technician
Type: Full Time Hourly
Shift: 3rd
Division: Machining
Location: Morristown TN
Position Summary: Successful candidate will provide multi-craft technical support for production team. Candidate will be expected to maintain equipment in optimal running condition and minimize downtime when machinery fails. Assistance may be required for training projects and countermeasures resulting in the improvement of processes robots and machinery. Expected to meet safety troubleshooting and promptness requirements to do job successfully. Shift dependent on manpower. Candidates for this position must be willing to work flexible shifts and overtime when required.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
- Provide electromechanical support for production upon their work order requests
- Evaluate equipments running condition
- Proficiently carry-out electromechanical tasks on CNC machines assemblies presses and robotics
- Understand how to read electrical schematics and drawings
- Must be able to work alone and with other members of maintenance and engineering teams
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

- Previous manufacturing or production-floor experience
QualificationsJob Knowledge Essential Skills and Abilities: Preferred and Pay Influencing
- Certification from technical school or a 2-year degree for industrial related studies (i.e. TCAT or WSCC associates degree)
- Knowledge of automated production equipment and processes
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
- Understanding of preventative maintenance systems
- Ability to change robot and CNC motors and dial in machines
- High level of troubleshooting ability using multi-meter and megohmmeter
- Ability to troubleshoot with PLC Ladder Logic and make minor changes
- Familiarity with machining centers work offsets tooling offsets and automation controls such as robotics washers leak testing equipment and assembly machines is a plus
- Computer skills Microsoft Office Excel Outlook
- Ability to troubleshoot and program Fanuc robotics equipment is a plus
- Ability to order spare parts
- Omron PLC experience
- Experience in fabrication and MIG welding
- Machine tool technology
