What you Need to Know:
KeyResponsibilities:
Perform a variety of routine tasks associated with the installationserviceand calibration of a diverse range of biomedical equipment and instrumentation. Install qualifymaintainservicemodify troubleshoot safety test and calibrate a variety of biomedical equipment and instrumentation by interpreting engineering and vendor information schematicdiagramsand graphic illustrations.
Diagnoseand correct system or equipment malfunctions by repairing or replacing parts to ensure that biomedical equipment and internal circuitrymeetsspecified requirements.
Assistin the support of a systematic preventive maintenance program for biomedical equipment and instrumentation which may include entry into Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Provide technicalassistanceand instruction to personnel in the operation and maintenance of equipment.
Meet departmental performance indicator standards on a consistent basis;Maintainaccurateandtimelydocumentation.
Standard Schedule:Monday- Friday 7:30 am- 4:00 pm
Pay Information:$22.00-$24.00 per hour depending on experience.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: High School or equivalent required.
Experience: 1 year of related experience preferred.
Maintenance skills in electronics mechanical or electromechanical device repair preferred.Ability to read color codes on wiring and electrical components.Ability to comprehend and follow both written and oral instructions.
Must have a valid Drivers license with a good driving record.
Ability to take support calls.Ability to work on a team.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs frequently and unassisted; Frequently required to stand walk stoop kneel crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.Abilityto use a variety of hand and power tools and work with a variety of chemicals and solvents. Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. businessofficewith computers phones and printers light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle andhave the ability tosit at a computer terminal for an extendedperiod of time. Work in extreme temperatures for short duration.
