Caregiver (CNA, HHA or PCA) Weekends

Elim Shores a Cassia community is hiring aCaregiver to work weekend overnights!This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career in healthcare build meaningful relationships and make a difference in the lives of older adults every day. At Elim Shores youll work in a fun family-first environment with a supportive team that values compassion teamwork and quality care.

As aCaregiveratElim Shores you will provide each resident with routine daily nursing care and services following guidelines and regulations. You will work beside other Caregivers & Nurses to assist our residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and medication administration while promoting dignity independence and well-being. Our ideal candidate is acompassionate dependable Caregiver who thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Position Type: Part-Time

Shifts Available:10:00 pmto 6:00 am (every Friday and Saturday)

Wage Range: $16.92 - $20.30 per hour depending on experience

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature blood pressure weight pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting systems.
• Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude reaction and appetite to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair assist with showering/ bathing fingernail and foot care and medication administration.
• Pass medications.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current MN Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A genuine desire to work with our elderly population.
