Revenue Analyst

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Revenue Management the Revenue Analyst will play a central role in maximizing Hotel X Torontos revenue and profitability. The Revenue Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data monitoring market trends and assist DORM in providing strategic revenue decisions. The ideal candidate possesses a keen analytical mind business acumen and the ability to communicate insights clearly.

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the analyzing revenue profit and demand associated with the participating hotels rooms and function space inventory.
• Assists in preparing forecasts including budgets and projections and evaluate sales strategy effectiveness.
• Develops and leverages analytical tools and systems to maximize overall hotel revenue and profit.
• Manage rooms and function space inventory ensuring the proper allocation and restrictions to optimize total hotel revenues and profits.
• Conduct competitive set analysis and monitor market trends and dynamics.
• Inform the DORM of any obvious market trends.
• Generates and deliver accurate and timely results through reports presentations and other relevant formats.
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with Reservations Sales Marketing and Finance.

Salary

$60000 - $70000/year

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Hospitality Tourism Business or a related field preferred.
• Experience in Revenue Management financial analysis and pricing.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
• Must be flexible with work shifts and confident in working with a diverse range of personalities in a dynamic environment.
