We are seeking an experiencedChief/SeniorElectrical Inspectorto join our team at the RFK Bridge. This role is critical in ensuring the quality safety and compliance of electrical installations across power communications systems and ITS elements (including fiber and camera systems). The ideal candidate will be available to start within the next two weeks.
Responsibilities
Inspection & Verification
Inspect electrical installations (wiring conduits panels lighting grounding) for compliance with NEC IEC and project specifications.
Verify materials and components (cables breakers panels transformers) meet approval and spec requirements.
Functional testing of control panels and automation systems
Confirm operation of emergency systems (generators UPS fire alarms emergency lighting)
Documentation & Reporting
Generate daily reports via ASITE system
Complete inspection checklists test results and as-built drawings
Maintain detailed records of inspections non-conformances (NCRs) and corrective actions
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with construction teams QA/QC Resident Engineers clients consultants subcontractors and vendors
Participate in site meetings audits and punch list walks
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with OSHA NFPA NEC and other safety codes
Monitor adherence to LOTO and electrical hazard control procedures
Report and follow up on safety concerns and hazards
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in electrical systems inspection
OSHA 30 Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with MTA / TBTA projects
Salary Range: $55-$70/HR
