Raytheons Hardware Electrical Engineering Team is looking for junior level engineers who have electronics knowledge to support electrical products and systems through design test and/or sustainment activities.

We are looking for candidates who are eager to collaborate innovate and work alongside our talented engineering this role you will leverage advanced technologies to create cutting-edge solutions for sensor and effector products. You will partner with experienced multidisciplinary teams to help define requirements support architecture development execute detailed design and simulations and perform integration and verification tasks.

What You Will Do

• As a Power & Analog Design Engineer II your responsibilities will include the following:
• Support the design analysis test and/or document of electronic circuits.
• Support integration and verification activities in engineering laboratories.
• Provide product test and troubleshoot support.
• Understand and report execution status to the planned budget and schedule.
• Function as an individual contributor.
• Clearly present your work product to leadership.
• Engage in professional growth and development.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering Science Physics Mathematics or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Education or experience with any of the following: RF power analog digital and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing.
• Education or experience with analog laboratory equipment such as waveform generators oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers and/or network analyzers.
• Education or experience with simulation software for circuit analysis or modeling.

Qualifications We Value

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Education or experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations
• Education or experience performing analog electrical engineering design.
• Education or experience with any of the following tools: Mentor Graphics Designer PSPICE System Vision MATLAB Mathcad IDL Computer Simulation Technologies (CST) Microwave Design Studio High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) Advanced Design System (ADS) SABER RD SIMPLIS or xDX Designer.
• Design and/or Analysis education or experience with analog electronics design including at least one of the following: Power supply topologies (buck boost buck-boost) FETs/BJTs op-amp high/low/band pass filters clock/data termination and comparator circuits.
• Education or experience with subsystems integration and test problem investigation Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements technical writing formal presentation and implementing Engineering Change Notices.
• Education or experience supporting or executing Electronics CAD layouts for printed wiring or circuit boards.
• Self-starter whos capable of working independently as well as with a small technical team. Providing technical oversight and direction cost estimation tracking & reporting coordination preparation of detailed technical team reports and proposal support.
• Desire to lead design efforts and/or small teams.
• Ability to communicate project status with program leadership and/or customers.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.
• This position requires onsite work in Tucson AZ: part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process candidates may be asked to attendselect steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site hybrid or remote.
  The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
