What Youll Do
As a Quality Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring our processes and products meet the highest standards and drive continuous improvement throughout the this role youll:
- Support and maintain the AS9100 quality management system managing corrective actions non-conformance reports audits risk management and defect reduction.
- Lead root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions on identified problem areas.
- Manage the corrective action process non-conformance workflows and in-process defect database.
- Collaborate with internal teams customers and suppliers to uphold quality standards and foster positive relationships.
- Create and verify inspection criteria analyze inspection results and address deviations.
- Assist with customer audits quality improvement initiatives and responses to customer complaints.
- Work with statistical data to evaluate quality standards identify key improvement areas and contribute to overall process optimization.
- Take part in the AS9100 audit processes certification efforts and internal audit procedures.
- Provide guidance and leadership for ensuring compliance with corporate and quality objectives.
What You Bring
Youre an experienced professional with a proactive mindset and a passion for driving quality improvements. Heres what were looking for:
- Education & Experience:
- A 4-year degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience in a high-volume quality engineering capacity.
- Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in the aerospace industry (preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership experience is a plus.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality management systems and corrective action processes.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings industry regulations and engineering documentation.
- Competency in using RCCA tools data analysis methods and process improvement strategies.
- Understanding of military and commercial quality assurance regulations as well as mechanical and electromechanical systems.
- Other Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (due to federal contract obligations).
- Willingness to travel for business approximately 10% (domestic and international).
- Physical capacity to lift/move objects up to 25 pounds and operate in a moderate-noise environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $65000 to $95000 annually influenced by several factors including experience skill set education certifications market conditions and business needs.
