Job Summary
Maintenance Technician Position Summary:
The person in this position is required to perform basic preventive and reactive maintenance duties in order to support the proper operation and maintenance of assigned water wastewater facilities lift stations and building facilities under direct supervision.
Hiring Requirements/Preferences for Maintenance Technician:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 0-3 years experience in water and/or wastewater field.
- Mechanical ability. Proper and safe use of Tools and equipment.
- Electrical knowledge or background preferred not .
- 6 months 1 year experience in basic building maintenance and construction.
- Ability to read interpret and utilize information found in blueprints schematics technical manuals diagrams and equipment specifications.
- Experience with Microsoft office suite and basic computer functions.
- OSHA 10 General Industry Certification or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).
- Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Valid US Drivers License.
