We are currently searching for diesel truck mechanics!
Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
This position is for our Chalmette LA branch at 100 Intermodal Dr Chalmette LA 70043.
Pay Range: $15.00 to $35.00 per hour dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.
Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:
- The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical electrical or other various systems on a diesel tractor / truck / semi.
- Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
- Experience with oil changes preventative maintenance starters wheel seals and all bolt on components.
- Welding experience is a plus for pump and compressor installations but not a must (optional)
Physical Demands:
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- With assistance occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
