Community Engagement Manager

Job Summary
As a Community Engagement Manager for OCI you will be responsible for collaborating and building meaningful partnerships and engagement opportunities between OCI educational institutions community organizations and industry partnersespecially in Texas but also across the US. This role is critical to boosting Oracles brand presence developing workforce pipelines and demonstrating corporate responsibility.
*The primary location for this role is Shackelford TX
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement: Sponsor organize and participate in local and regional community events particularly within the technology and cloud computing sectors to build awareness of OCI and highlight Oracles commitment to positive community involvement.
- Community Listening:Conduct and facilitate listening sessions to understand the needs interests and concerns of community members and report actionable insights to key stakeholders for follow-up planning.
- Education Partnerships: Develop and manage partnerships with colleges community colleges and technical/vocational schools to create internship and apprenticeship programs and to establish pipelines for future cloud and technical talent.
- Workforce Development: Help align curricula with OCIs evolving skill requirements and identify future talent prospects within educational institutions and training programs.
- Vendor and Supplier Outreach: Identify and engage local and diverse vendors to strengthen OCIs supply chain and foster deeper investment in local economies.
- Market Integration: Act as OCIs ambassador in civic technology and educational forums ensuring OCI is a visible and valued community partner in Texas and other US markets.
- Brand Building: Partner with Oracles Marketing and Communications teams to extend OCIs presence particularly in new markets and support local recruitment efforts through targeted outreach and storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in Operations Education Government Workforce Development Communications Public Relations Business Community Engagement or related field.
- Knowledge of technology trends and interest in cloud infrastructure; prior experience in the technology sector is a plus.
- Proven track record in community engagement partnership building or workforce development.
- Excellent interpersonal project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders including education leaders technology partners vendors and community organizations.
- Passion for community impact collaboration and talent development.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87000 to $178100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
