Instructor of Spanish

UHS is seeking an instructor of Spanish who can teach all levels of a six-level program from beginning to advanced and honors classes. Candidates must demonstrate strong proficiency and fluency in the language and a deep understanding of its cultures and literature. Candidates should have a degree in Spanish Literature or Linguistics and teaching experience preferably in high-school. We are particularly interested in candidates committed to the close reading discussion and analysis of literary and other authentic texts who employ a variety of instructional methods to foster language proficiency and cross-cultural competence.

Annual Salary. Salary is based on a scale that is tied to years of relevant experience. Current full-time instructor salaries run from $83995-$162757.
