Job Summary
Details:
PTS Advance is looking for a local Piping Designer for a long term contract in Billings Montana. Refinery experience highly desired
Start date: May 4th
Pay rate $58-$61 hr DOE
Work schedule:5 days a week - 10 hours a day to start.
No per diem
TWIC card required
Responsibilities:
- Creating and revising Piping drawings throughout the design and MOC processes
- Assembling Piping design packages that will be utilized for construction purposes
- Providing design assistance throughout all phases of projects
- Tracking and reporting progress for current and future Piping Projects
Job Requirements:
- 5years of experience in Piping Design role or worked in a similar capacity in a previous role
- Indepth knowledge of Piping standards methods and practices
- Experience with utilizing 3D modeling and point cloud workflows
- Must be able to work safely in an office and refinery environment
- Must be able toperform field walk downs
- Must be able to work both individually and on a team
- Strong communication and interpersonalskills
- AAS Degree or 2 years of equivalent craft / designer work
Software/Hardware Qualifications required:
- AutoCAD (or equivalent)
- CADWorx Plant (or equivalent)
- Basic computer/PC skills
- Microsoft programs (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Preferred software skills:
- Leica CloudWorx (or equivalent)
- Navisworks
- AutoCAD P3D
- Falcon
- SAP
- Leica
Other:
- Must be able to acquire a TWIC card
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background screen
- Pre employment training needed before start (details will be given)
