1820 Spirits/Boston Brands of Maine located in Lewiston Maine is a division of Sazerac Manufacturing. 1820 Spirits is a producer of distilled spirits and efficiently produces the highest quality product with a highly engaged and talented workforce. The company operates a state-of-the-art facility on ten acres in Lewiston Maine. With the capacity of six bottling lines the company looks forward to continuing a track record of success.
Job Description/Responsibilities
Join 1820 Spirits as a Safety Coordinator and play a key role in building a workplace where safety and culture go hand in hand. Youll lead efforts to create a zero-injury environment by developing practical safety programs driving training and ensuring compliance across our facilities. This role offers the chance to make a visible impact in a growing company by shaping both safety practices and team engagement.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 11 am- 8pm
What Youll Do
- Develop and implement safety programs training and policies that meet or exceed regulatory requirements
- Identify hazards lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Partner with managers and team members to strengthen safety culture and engagement
- Support compliance efforts including TTB regulations and environmental standards
- Oversee safety metrics reduce workplace incidents and manage related claims and recovery processes
Qualifications/Requirements
Required:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum 2 years of relevant safety or compliance experience
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field

The annual salary range for this role is $71682 - $89602. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience qualifications geographic location and internal pay equity considerations.
