Assistant SolidWorks Drafter

Salary: $22-24/ hour

Position Summary:

The Asst. AutoCAD Designer works with the Senior AutoCAD designer and uses 2D/3D modeling software to create product drawings and provides support for single use product sales and production.

Primary Job Duties:

• Assist in creating updating and modifying detailed 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Support senior drafters and engineers in the preparation of layouts diagrams schematics and technical plans.
• Ensure accuracy quality and compliance with company drafting standards and project specifications.
• Maintain organized drawing files revisions and documentation for project records.
• Perform redline markups and revisions as directed by engineers or project leads.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and clarify design requirements.
• Assist with plotting printing and assembling drawing sets for internal use and client submissions.

• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally twist bend stoop and kneel.
  • Ability to safely navigate a manufacturing environment.
