Room Leader
Up to 13.30 per hour Full-Time 40 hours per week Ofsted Good Rating
Our client is a warm well-resourced nursery with spacious playrooms a wonderful outdoor garden and a dedicated team passionate about early childhood. Holding a Good Ofsted rating this nursery is committed to helping every child develop and reach their full potential through stimulating purposeful play and learning experiences.
They are now looking for a motivated and nurturing Room Leader to take ownership of their room inspire their team and deliver outstanding experiences for the children in their care.
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - essential
- Experience in a senior or leadership role within a nursery setting - essential
- Our client will also consider candidates looking to step up into their first Room Leader position provided they hold the relevant qualification and demonstrate strong potential
- A solid understanding of EYFS and child development
- A passionate child-centred approach with excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities
- Leading the day-to-day running of your room ensuring a stimulating and safe environment
- Planning and delivering engaging developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Observing assessing and documenting childrens development and progress
- Mentoring and supporting room-based staff acting as a positive role model
- Building strong trusting relationships with children families and colleagues
- Contributing to the wider nursery team and supporting the senior leadership
