Seasonal Water Truck Driver

R.W. Tomlinson is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Water Truck Driverto support dust suppression and site cleaning operations at facilities materials sites and construction sites. The successful candidate willoperatea water truck to control dust clean site surfaces andassistwith general site maintenance.

• Operate a water truck fordust suppression road wetting and general site cleaning

• Safelyfill and refill the water truckfrom approved water sources

• Operate amanual transmissionvehicle

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation

• Maintain safe driving practices in active work zones and around pedestrians and equipment

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and site staff

• Monitor water usage and manage time efficiently to meet daily operational needs

• Report mechanical issues safety concerns or operational delays promptly

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Ontario DZ DriversLicence(required)

• Experience operatingmanual transmissiontrucks

• Demonstrated ability to safelyoperateand fill a water truck

• Knowledge of city roads and routesisrequired

• Strongtime management skillswith the ability to prioritize tasks

• Previousexperience in dust suppression construction landfill or materials site operations is an asset

• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with regulations

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physically able to perform duties associated with the role

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions

• Operation in activeconstruction facilities and materials site environments

• Seasonal employment from present day to October 31

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

The expected salary range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00 hourly. Placement within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
