Accurately receiveand ship orders ensuring all shipmentshave the properdocumentationMonitorandre-orderstockitemsandsource equipment and suppliesMonitor and forecast upcoming levels of demandOrganize and perform monthly&year-endinventorycountsIdentifyandreport anyinventory discrepanciesissues with respect toobsolescenceand/orinventoryintegrityto management ona timelybasisProvide guidance andassistancetomanagement and employees in all aspects of purchasingProvide pricing information and advice on materials for project estimates and quotesReview tenders andpurchaseaward documentation with respect to quality suitability delivery and pricing of goods and servicesSource selectand negotiatewith suppliersfor best purchasing packagesEnsure purchasing information in the system is complete and up to dateWorkin accordance withallArrow Marinepolicies & proceduresKeepstrong communications betweenForemanProject& Division ManagersKeep shopclean andorganizedOther duties as required by supervisorYou Possess
- Relevant post-secondary education i.e.inventory managementprocurementpurchasingparts managementstorespersonetc.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant industry experiencesuch aswarehousinginventorymanagement automotive mechanical or marine
- Ability to work outdoors and in the elements and in an industrial environment as
- Strong safety mindset
- Strong computer proficiency Microsoft 365and the ability to learn new software applications
- Solidwork ethic self-starterand positive team attitude
- Strong organizational skillsand attention to detail
- Excellent internal and external customer serviceskills
- Responsibleaccountableanddependable
- Demonstratedstrong communication skills both verbally and written
- Excellentproblem solvingskills
- Flexibility for shift scheduling
- Prior forklift experience is an asset
- Knowledgeofmarine industryis an asset
