The Product Designer AI Learning Experiences is part of our RISE Next Generation AI initiative focused on designing and rapidly building learner-facing applications within our PEAK platform.
PEAK is a data-informed system that enables adaptive personalized learning based on real insights. The tools you build will be integrated into this ecosystem to support neurodivergent learners in engaging effective ways.
This is a fast-paced experiment-driven role at the intersection of design and development. Youll work with a small high-trust team to turn ideas into prototypes test them in real contexts and iterate quickly based on feedback.
In this role you will:
Design and build interactive prototypes end-to-end
Create intuitive neuro-affirming user experiences
Collaborate with educators to ground designs in real needs
Work with engineering to integrate backend logic
Use AI tools to accelerate prototyping and iteration
Youll contribute to real tools used in educational settings within a platform that is rapidly evolving in scope and impact.
Principal Roles and Responsibilities
Design and build interactive learner-facing prototypes end-to-end
Rapidly translate concepts into testable applications and experiences
Apply UX principles with a strong focus on accessibility andneuroaffirmingdesign
Collaborate with educators and internal staff to refine andvalidateideas
Iterate quickly based on feedback usage and observation
Work closely with engineering to connect prototypes with backend systemsand data
Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate design and development workflows
Explore new formats (e.g. game-like interfaces adaptive experiences interactive tools)
Document concepts prototypes and learnings to support ongoing development
What you might build
As part of this role you will explore and prototype a wide range of learner-facing tools. Examples include:
A game-like interface that adapts reading or math difficulty in real time based on learner progress
An interactive tool that visualizes learning patterns and supports metacognitive awareness
A guided exercise system that responds dynamically to student input and engagement
A lightweight mobile experience that supports practice and reinforcement outside of sessions
Experimental interfaces that explore new ways of interacting with AI in an educational context
These are not static products - they areprototypes designed to test ideas generate insight and evolve into impactful toolswithin the PEAK ecosystem.
Competencies
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Strong intuition inUX/UI design principles including usability clarity and interaction design
