JOB TITLE: Pharmacy Delivery Driver
DEPARTMENT: Pharmacy
FLSA: Part-time; Hourly/Non-Exempt
DURATION: OPEN UNTIL FILLED
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Pharmacy Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery of medications to assigned destinations as well as the other clinics within OIC Family Medical Centers and receiving signatures of the patients upon receipt of the medication collecting fees associated with medication and/or delivery of medication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive vehicles to designated destinations for customer product deliveries.
- Drive safely and deliver products within deadlines.
- Analyze delivery addresses determine appropriate routes and maintain schedule.
- Report any accidents or injuries to thePharmacy Director immediately.
- Load and unload products from vehicles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Minimum of 2 years driving experience required.
Valid North Carolina A B or C license with clean driving record (no more than 2 violations in the previous 18 months). Any violation is subject to individual review and subject to termination or disqualification to drive on behalf of the organization.
Continuing compliance with North Carolina vehicle and traffic law including medical vision and hearing tests required per North Carolina regulations.
Knowledge of local roadways and directions.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
HIRING RANGE: $15 to $17/hour
