Job Summary

The Resident Service Manageris responsible for serving as the primary campus representative facilitating the marketing sales and leasing process and procedure for residents and their families staff referral sources community addition this individual will provide assistance to the Executive Director in ensuring general well being of residents through delivery of high quality care and services in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy of independent housing assisted living and memory care and that complies with state and local laws and regulations.

SCHEDULE:M-F 8:00 AM-4:30 PM *Occasional Weekends

SALARY:$62400-$72900 annually commensurate with experience

ESSENTIALS:

Resident Services

  • In consultation with the Residence Director and Director of Healthcare Services conduct initial assessment of residents to assure their needs can be met.
  • Coordinate details related to move-ins and that residents maintain admission criteria; reassesses and recommends alternative placement as necessary.
  • Make final determination on eligibility for continued residency.
  • Document and file information pertaining to residents problems/progress
  • Implement approaches and services to maintain or enhance resident independence
  • Refer residents to community-based services as necessary
  • Handle grievances in accordance with campus established policy and procedure.
  • Assist with apartment inspections to ensure residents are maintaining apartments.
  • Transporting residents via bus.
  • Oversee MTC Dietary/Bistro/HK concerns.
  • Assist with planning and executing activities and on-campus events.
  • Troubleshoot general resident inquiries.
  • Sign leases and understand MN landlord tenant laws.

Financial

  • Participates in the annual facility budgeting process.

Planning and Organization

  • Assist Residence Director in monitoring external and internal environment for development of new market segments.
  • Assist in preparing feasibility studies and business plans for new program development.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the facility.

Administration

  • Assume the administrative authority responsibility and accountability of directing the Campus as it relates to Housing when the Residence Director is absent from community.
  • Develop and maintain written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the community as directed by the Residence Director.
  • Review Campus policies and procedures periodically at least annually and make necessary changes as approved by the Residence Director.
  • Assist as needed and directed by the Residence Director on special projects routine duties and tasks involving all aspects of the community and personnel.

Required Qualifications:

  • Two (2) year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with various levels of community and corporate staff residents family members and the public.
  • Proficiency with various business software; preferably Microsoft Office.
  • Organizational ability and Good Communicator.
  • Ability to handle interruptions on a regular basis as well as the stress associated with meeting a variety of deadlines.
  • Ability to meet the requirements identified as indicated in the essential job functions.
  • Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping in-servicing and documentation.
