Client is looking for a Junior UAT Specialist to work withing their testing team. This is a great opportunity to grow in an enterprise environment.

The Client for Junior UAT Tester with experience utilizing various testing methodologies and tools such as but not limited to JIRA and Salesforce. The incumbents will utilize these tools the data/scenarios provided and their proven experience to perform various testing tasks such as building and maintaining test plans test suites and End to End business processes of work to ensure that the DC Client meets business requirements.
The position is 4 days a week on site and 1 day telework.

CONTRACT JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty.
Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/products. This is a professional position which may require subject matter expertise consistent with demanding and rare technological skills.
May require coordination of programming activities being conducted by the application development team.
Confers with other business and technical personnel to resolve problems of intent inaccuracy or feasibility of computer processing and project design.
Works with necessary personnel to determine if modifications are necessary with interested personnel to determine necessity for modifications or enhancements.
Leverages excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop new business process and programming solutions as directed by business and technical stakeholders.
May coordinate activities of application developers.
Able to identify best practices and standards for the use of the product.
Proven track record of hands-on technical design and code work within large complex systems.
Proven hands-on technical work with a variety of technologies.
Demonstrated technical expertise integrating a variety of diverse technical environments and cross-platform technologies.
Delivers support and design for industry specific applications that require integration with statewide systems or applications.
Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts.
Advanced experience in the required technical subject matter.
May function as a niche technical SME (Subject Matter Expert).
Has proven experience across large and complex implementations and systems.
Skills Matrix:
Proven hands-on working experience in UAT testing utilizing various testing techniques methodologies tools (Selenium QC ALM SQL)
Must have hands on UAT exp building maintaining test plans test suites writing & executing E2E test cases managing defects
UAT experience with writing test scripts according to End-to-End business processes to work support and help the non-technical Business SMEs
Hands on experience in HP JIRA with requirements to test cases to defects traceability execution defect tracking & reporting
6-10 yrs. conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty
6-10 yrs. preparing complex technical documentation
Bachelors degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
Team player quick responsive individual contributor coordinator adaptive to accept changes in complex environment; Task/Goal driven
Strong analytical skills; Proficient Time-management ability; Detail oriented; Excellent written & verbal communication
Have client facing skills; Have vast knowledge of testing techniques to cover all possible corner E2E cases for UAT testing with V&V
Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio to develop flow diagrams/ process diagrams as well as knowledge of the full MS Office Suite
Candidate must meet qualifications for a journeyman level role.

Compensation: $60.00 - $67.00 per hour
