Machine Operator

Machine Operator (Metal Industry preferred)
Location: Santa Teresa NM

• Schedule: MFriday 3:30 PM 1:30 AM or MondayThursday 3:00 PM 2:00 AM
• Training will be conducted on day shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Pay: $19.00 $20.00 per hour (DOE)
Language Requirement:Some English required

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator with CNC or Brake Press experience preferred. The ideal candidate will process metal according to customer orders and work order specifications using advanced machinery while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process material according to work order and set-up note specifications
• Set up operate and maintain cranes forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Pull inspect and verify product prior to processing
• Perform quality checks during machine operation and record measurements per sampling plan
• Complete production and productivity logs accurately
• Communicate with sales representatives regarding order changes or clarifications
• Identify record and segregate scrap and non-conforming material
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Maintain processing and work areas in a clean safe and orderly condition
• Properly operate weighing scales and maintain measurement tools
• Assist with packaging materials according to work instructions
• Provide feedback to supervision regarding machine efficiency and product quality
• Support lean and quality initiatives Train others as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications: Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 12 years of machine operation experience.
• Ability to read and write in English Basic math skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using handheld measuring tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience especially in the metals industry preferred
• Forklift experience & basic computer skills
