DescriptionAre you passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth impacted by trauma and neglect The Daytime Residential Mental Health Technician plays a vital role in supporting clients within our Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) school setting. This position provides consistent supervision emotional support and behavioral guidance to youth working toward stability growth and therapeutic goals.
What We Offer:
- Base pay of $19/hr plus a$3/hr stipend (through approved grant period).
- Additional $2/hr shift differential for any shift worked on the weekend.
- Bonuses of $100 after 30 days $150 after 6months and $200 after 1 yearof employment.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise residential clients throughout the therapeutic school day to ensure safety structure and engagement.
- Provide 1:1 educational behavioral and emotional support to youth who struggle to remain in the classroom setting.
- Collaborate with teachers clinicians and residential staff in implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Model appropriate social behaviors and guide clients through healthy communication and problem-solving.
- Participate in crisis intervention following Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) protocols including safe restraint when necessary.
- Complete daily documentation and treatment-related reports accurately and on time.
- Safely escort and transport clients to classes activities and appointments.
- Support morning check-in groups to promote readiness participation and emotional safety.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM
Qualifications:
- A 4-year college degree and at least one (1) year of relevant experience is preferred; however the following substitutions will be considered
- A high school diploma or equivalent plus at least two (2) years of experience in the human services field.
- A high school diploma or equivalent plus 30 semester hours of college credit and at least one (1) year of relevant experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years of college preferred.
- Colorado substitute teachers license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Qualified Medication Administration Personnel Certification (QMAP) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- CPR/First Aid Certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work with sensitivity to the cultural and/or socioeconomic diversity of the agencys clients and staff.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and trust.
- Must pass a background check drug screening and physical exam.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
