Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Manufacturing Americas to lead and transform our Engineering Shapes & Solutions manufacturing and supply chain operations across the region. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence scaling manufacturing capabilities and delivering world-class performance in safety quality service and cost efficiency.

This leader will play a critical role in shaping the future of our manufacturing networkaligning operations with long-term business strategy while enabling sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

What Youll Do

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of the regional manufacturing strategy aligned to business growth objectives
  • Serve as a key member of the Americas Leadership Team contributing to budgeting workforce planning and capital strategy
  • Define and communicate a clear manufacturing vision aligned with global and regional priorities

Operational Excellence

  • Drive performance across safety quality service reliability productivity and cost control
  • Lead execution of the S&OP plan aligning staffing production scheduling and inventory optimization
  • Build and standardize operating systems across multiple manufacturing sites

Organizational Leadership

  • Develop and lead a high-performing multi-site manufacturing organization
  • Strengthen leadership capability and build future-ready talent pipelines
  • Foster a culture of accountability performance and continuous improvement

Continuous Improvement & Transformation

  • Lead large-scale transformation initiatives across multiple sites
  • Drive Lean Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Improve operational efficiency reduce costs and enhance capital effectiveness

Customer & Supply Chain Focus

  • Champion a customer-centric culture supporting commercial growth
  • Strengthen collaboration with suppliers and customers to enhance supply chain resiliency
  • Ensure alignment across operations commercial and finance teams

What You Bring

Experience & Expertise

  • Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in multi-site high-tech manufacturing environments
  • Proven success leading large-scale operations and transforming underperforming sites
  • Experience in plastics manufacturing and/or fabrication preferred
  • Strong knowledge of EHS and Quality systems (e.g. RC14001 or similar)

Technical & Business Skills

  • Deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and driving margin expansion
  • Ability to manage complex priorities across multiple sites and functions

Leadership Capabilities

  • Proven ability to lead influence and align cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication interpersonal and team-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to make high-impact decisions in complex environments

Key Role Scope

  • Oversight of multiple manufacturing sites across the Americas
  • Direct leadership of senior operations leaders
  • Significant regional operational and financial impact
  • Approximately 2540% travel (domestic and international)

Additional Information

This position requires the ability to travel as needed to support multi-site operations. Responsibilities may evolve based on business needs.

The salary range for this position is $183100 - $228800. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience education/training job-related skills internal peer equity as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state) if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
